Back on Track

Have been taking the time to really get into my own thoughts lately. Been hard at work with my RPG content, but novel work fell to the waist-side for a bit. Now, I'm working on projects for both. Hopefully, in due time something will get published.
Right now, I am currently working on "The Tinkerer" series. I hope to have the first draft finished before... new years? o.O I say that because I have hit a snag in outlining "The Trail of Trials" portion of the first novel. I am currently half-through through the outline. A few projects have cleared and I am reluctant on taking (or rather, making) others during this time.

About the series
The Tinkerer series is set in a war-torn nation. Alex is a blacksmith's apprentice. He will be undertaking an adventure he never truly wished to start. There will be a very classic uses of the Hero's Journey plot-structure.
I really do not wish to say much about this project, only that I am forbidding myself from working on other ideas. I will be jotting other ideas down, but I am keeping myself to a strict "DO NOT expand upon other ideas" self-rule.
Still undecided as if I will self-publish, or only go traditional. Luckily, I can postpone that decision indefinitely (well, at least until I actually finish a project).
